Obituary

Jessie J. Ruckert

Died July 2, 2008
 

Jessie J. Ruckert, 89, of Fairfax, a homemaker, died July 2 at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

She was born Sept. 27, 1918, in Fairfax to the late James E. and Lucy King Croson. Mrs. Ruckert was the wife of the late Karl K. Ruckert.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Ruckert of Ormond Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Carolyn Botchie of Charleston, S.C.; two sisters, Evelyn Curtis of Fairfax, and Eleanor Thompson of Woodbridge; a brother, Walter Croson of Warrenton; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ruckert was buried July 7 in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon.

Arrangements were by Adams-Green Funeral Home of Herndon.

My sincere condolences go out to the Ruckert family. Mrs. Ruckert was a wonderful woman and I am very saddened to learn of her passing.I am very sorry I was late at sending my condolences but just found out today.
