Pumpkin Chunkin' at Cox

Pumpkin Madness at Cox Farms: Cox Farms, 15621 Braddock Road in Centreville hosts its annual Pumpkin Madness days, an event that allows people of all ages to destroy their own pumpkins or the pumpkins at Cox in a wide variety of ways.

The dates this year are Nov. 1, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Nov. 2-4, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Methods include the pumpkin catapult, the pumpkin high drop, the pumpkin squisher, pumpkin bowling, the pumpkin toss and a wall of spikes.

There will also be hayrides, giant slides, farm animals and their babies, a rope swing, live entertainment and the CORNundrum.

Admission is $15 weekends and $9 weekdays. Children younger than 2 are admitted free.
