Moran in 8th

Connolly in the 11th

Nobody has hit the Bush administration harder than Jim Moran. He's pounded Bush on the war in Iraq. He's pounded Bush on global warming. He's pounded Bush on irresponsible energy policies and he's pounded Bush on a wide range of economic missteps.

Between all of those attacks, Moran has also managed to be an effective representative for the 8th District.

The nine-term incumbent has certainly been a strong voice for Northern Virginia on the House Appropriations Committee, where he sits on the Defense Subcommittee and is able to weigh in on key elements of the BRAC relocation. He's also delivered for local businesses, roads and the environment.

Republican challenger Mark Ellmore has run a spirited campaign, but Moran's experience and long track record of battling for his constituents make him a good choice in the 8th.
