Church celebrates 140th anniversary

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22 2008

Oak Grove Baptist Church is marking its 140th anniversary this year. The church is now in Sterling, but was originally founded to serve the Town of Herndon and the surrounding area. Church members originally met in a log cabin that doubled as a school. The church is now in its fifth building, at 22870 Dominion Lane in Sterling.
