Rust, Vanderhye talk transportation

The McLean Branch of the American Association of University Women will hold its monthly meeting Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at the McLean Community Center.

The program, "Selecting and Planning for Transportation Projects in Virginia -- How the System Works," will feature Del. Margaret Vanderhye (D-McLean) and Del. Thomas Rust (D-Herndon).

Vanderhye was a member of the Northern Virginia State Transportation Authority before becoming a state delegate. Rust has been on the Virginia State Transportation Commission since joining the state legislature six years ago.
