To A Tea: To A Tea is a specialty company that provides desserts and tea event planning. Owner Kimberly McDonald has years of event planning experience coupled with expertise in confectionery baked goods. She will bring this expertise to a private home or a place of business.McDonald served as catering director for many years at The Bailiwick Inn in Fairfax. Her position included organizing and scheduling high tea events. She has been devoted to perfecting her baking skills and has mastered creating cheesecakes. McDonald recently expanded her cheesecake business offerings to include tea event planning.
McDonald will work with each client individually to perfect the setting and create an appetizing menu. Each event will feature an array of loose teas and condiments.
McDonald has planned a variety of events, including bridal showers, birthdays, retirement, anniversary, baby showers and employee appreciation parties. In addition, she is offering princess and goddess teas (all age groups) and Sweet 16 and book club teas.
