Drilling home a point

A handful of protesters led by David McCracken, pictured, 10th Congressional District Council coordinator for MoveOn.org, made a visit to Republican Congressman Frank Wolf's (R) Herndon office on Thursday to protest offshore oil drilling.

McCracken provided Wolf with a petition signed by 732 10th Congressional District constituents. The petition reads, “America must commit to producing 100% of our electricity from cheap, clean renewable energy sources, like solar and wind, within 10 years.”

Until then moveon.org will continue to attend their protest events in petroleum powered vehicles.

Moveon.org and commitment does have a certain appeal however.
